One shop. End-to-end manufacturing.

Leatherwood Manufacturing handles the full production cycle under one roof — from raw stock to finished assembly. Our clients do not manage handoffs between vendors. They hand us the drawing and we deliver the part.

Whether the job calls for a single tight-tolerance aerospace component or a production run of electro-mechanical assemblies, we have the equipment, the certifications, and the people to do it right.

Defense. Aerospace. Transportation. Medical.

Forty years, one name, one standard.

Mike Leatherwood served in the United States Air Force starting in 1960, then founded this company in 1986. His sons Scotty and Gil have each been part of the team for more than twenty years. His grandson Ethan runs metrology and inspection — three generations under one roof. The business grew from a small machine shop into a 42,600 square foot facility with some of the most advanced CNC equipment on the East Coast.

Originally Leatherwood Electronics & Mfg., the name changed in 2008. The culture did not.
